Charles W. “Bud” Ware, 78 of Flemington, passed away at his home on Sunday, September 22, 2019 with his loved ones by his side.
He was born in Simpson, on March 30, 1941, a son of the late Charles Newton and Daisy Opal Apperson Ware.
He is survived by his wife of fifth six years, Sharon Hathaway Ware.
Bud was a veteran serving in the US Army, 82nd Airborne, He graduated from Flemington High School, Class of 1959, and retired from Greftech, as a machinist. Bud was a member of the Yates Lodge #163 A.F and A.M. Flemington. His hobbies were hunting, fishing, and taking pictures.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by one daughter, Kelly M. Turoczy and Bobby; two sons, Charles E. Ware and wife, Carol and Michael D. Ware; four grandchildren, Caitlin Ware, Autumn Ware, Shawnee Ware and Maverick Ware; one sister, Adra Anna Gray; one sister-in-law, Pam Ware and nephew, Rob Ware and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Robert F. Ware.
Friends will be received at Bartlett Funeral Home, 202 McGraw Ave. Grafton, on Wednesday, September 25, 2019 from 2-8 PM and on Thursday, September 26, 2019 from 9:00AM to the funeral hour at 11:00AM. with Rev. Tim Bolyard, officiating, Interment will follow at the WV National Cemetery. Military honors will be accorded by the VFW Memorial City Post #3081, American Legion Taylor County Post # 12, Central WV DAV Chapter 24 and their auxiliaries, and the US Army Honor Guard.
