Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday in United Methodist Church at White Deer with the Rev. Toni Bailey, pastor, and the Rev. Robert Kelley, pastor of First United Methodist Church of Crosbyton, officiating. Burial will be in White Deer Cemetery by Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors of Pampa.
The son of Avenell Naugle and Eddie Kacey Lavake, Jr, he was born April 22, 1928, at Stratford. In 1953, he moved to White Deer, where he farmed and ranched.
He married Dianne Brock on April 29, 1982, at Tucumcari, N.M. He was a member of White Deer Lions Club and United Methodist Church of White Deer.
Survivors include his wife; two daughters, Cheryl Lanham and Nancy Garrison, both of White Deer; a stepson, Chris Brock of Austin; a brother, Howard Lavake of Guymon, Okla.; a sister, Iva Lines of Guymon; four grandchildren, Richard Lanham and Monica Garrison, both of White Deer, and Tashell Kingston and Michele Lanham, both of Amarillo; and a great-grandchild, Coltin Kingston of Amarillo.
The family suggests, in lieu of flowers, memorials be to White Deer Senior Citizens; United Methodist Church of White Deer; or First Baptist Church of White Deer.
