He is survived by his wife Elizabeth, 4 sons: Ray Swanigan, Clint Swanigan, Daniel Mizer and Christopher Swanigan; a daughter, Rebecca Swanigan; step-sons: Brendan Bounds and Brian Bounds: his grandmother, Opal Hayes; 4 sisters: Bonnie, Joann, Ruby and Crystal; and a brother, Wayne.
Cremation rites were accorded by the Montgomery-Viets Funeral Home. Private burial will be in Macedonia cemetery. Memorials may be made to the M. D. Anderson Brain and Spine Center or to the Family.
