Virginia Moomaw Sisson, 90, of Southaven, MS, passed away on September 19, 2019. A graveside service will be held on Monday, September 23, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. at Autumn Woods Memorial Park in Olive Branch. (6240 Davidson Road, Olive Branch). Mrs. Sisson was born in Staunton, VA on December 3, 1928. Virginia was a member of First Baptist Church of Southaven and a devoted mother and dear friend to many. Virginia is survived by her son, Wayne (Mary Alice) Sisson of Olive Branch, MS; brother, Billy Moomaw of Greenville, VA; sisters, Shirley Hall of Staunton, VA and Bonnie Sutton of Raleigh, NC; two grandsons, Michael Kuntzman of Memphis, TN, and Jimmy Cigalina of Bentonville, AR and several great-grand children. Virginia was preceded in death by her parents, William and Earline Moomaw. The family of Mrs. Virginia Sisson would like to express their gratitude to the outstanding and caring staff of Baptist Desoto Hospice in Southaven, MS.
