MATT E. DVORSKY RITES THURSDAY

Funeral services for Matt E. Dvorsky, 51, of 133 Park street, will be at 9 a.m. Thursday at St. Thomas More chapel with burial to be in St. Joseph's cemetery.
Mr. Dvorsky died at University hospital Tuesday following a long illness.
Born in Newport township, February 15, 1908, he was a son of Michael and Anthonia Kral Dvorsky. He was reared in the Solon area and was married to the former Florence Jensen, of Iowa City.
Mr. Dvorsky was a member of St. Thomas More and the Iowa City Moose lodge.
Survivors include his widow, one son, Melvin, of Iowa City, three sisters, Mrs. Charles Novotny, of Solon, Mrs. Ernest Zenisek, and Mrs. Ernest Womochil, both of Fairfax, and six brothers, Ed J., Louis, Leo, Albert, all of Solon, George of Iowa City, and Joe J., of Blairstown.
He was preceded in death by a son in infancy and one brother as well as his parents.
The rosary will be at the Oathout funeral home at 7:30 p.m. today.
