Jerry Ray Aston, 64, died August 14, 2019 at home in Tacoma. He was born in Henderson, Texas, January 29, 1955. He was the second child of three children born to Michael Robert and Ruby Joyce Daniel Aston.
He was raised in Wichita Falls, Texas and graduated from Wichita Falls High School in 1973. He met Marlys Zimmerman Schumacher December 2, 1996 and they married May 12, 2007.
Jerry was a retired ironworker. He moved to Tacoma, Washington in 1976 to make pipe for the Alaska pipeline. He then worked in every state on the west side of the Mississippi River.
Jerry was preceded in death by his parents and older brother, Michael James.
He is survived by his wife and twin sister.
