Born in Wilmington, DE in 1930, she was the daughter of the late Norman J. and Allis B. (nee Appleby) Aydelotte.
Louise enjoyed a 37 year long career at Bell of Pennsylvania/Bell Atlantic/Verizon. She began there at age 22 right out of College as a Customer Service Representative and she rose to become a District Manager as one of the first women to reach the 3rd level of management at Bell of Pennsylvania.
Throughout her life, Louise was an avid traveler going to places like Alaska, Hawaii, Australia and Europe. In fact her favorite destination was Switzerland. She was a voracious reader and a member of the Soroptimist International Club. Louise loved dogs and was the proud owner of several Boston Terriers.
Family and friends were the focal point of her personal time when not working. She was always busy going to visit or doing something with her broad range of friends and her close knit family. To be Louise's friend, was to have a friend for a lifetime!
She was the loving aunt of David Aydelotte (Brenda) and Carol Jatres (Ray); caring great-aunt of David Aydelotte, Jr. (Jessica), Richard Andrew Aydelotte, Daniel Jatres, Justin Jatres (Jess), and Jillian Jatres; predeceased by her brother, Richard Aydelotte (the late Millie).
Relatives and friends are invited to her Visitation 9:30-10:30 AM Friday, September 20, 2019 at The Donohue Funeral Home, 43 W. Lancaster Avenue, Downingtown, PA 19335, 610-269-3080, followed by her Funeral Service 10:30 AM. Interment Edgewood Memorial Park.
