Sue Atkins Brigham, of Dover, TN, went home to be with her Lord on Sunday, September 15, 2019. She was born March 26, 1933 to the late Carter and Lula McGovern Atkins. She was a 1951 graduate of Stewart County high school and retired from AT&T with 39 ½ years and a member of Taylor’s Chapel United Methodist Church.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Walter Brigham, son, David Walter Brigham, brothers, Charles, Bill and Jimmy Atkins. She is survived by her two sisters, Jeanette Burton and Wilma Oakes (David), daughter in law, Teresa Brigham, three grandchildren, Emily Parker (Shannon), David W. Brigham Jr. (Ashley), and Tess Gafford (McCall), and 6 great grandchildren.

A celebration of life will be held at 3:00pm, Thursday, September 19, at Taylor Chapel United Methodist Church with Pastor Mary Jo Harvey.

In lieu of memorials, donation may be made to Taylors Chapel United Methodist Church.

Arrangements are entrusted to Anglin Funeral Home, Dover, Tennessee.
