Mrs. Angela “Angie” Everest Redding, age 69, of Lyons, died Sunday afternoon, September 15, 2019 at Community Hospice of Vidalia after an extended illness. Angela was a native of Lyons and resided in Savannah and Charleston, S.C. for many years before returning to Lyons in 1999. She was a Registered Nurse, having practiced for some 25 years and was a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution. Angela was Baptist by Faith.

She is preceded in death by her parents, William Otis Redding and Dorothy Jean Jarriel Scott.; her husband, Bennette William Andrews Jr.; and two brothers, Ireme Pierre Manuel and Nathan Paul Manuel.

She is survived by one son, Bennette William Andrews III of Lyons; one brother, Russell Morgan Scott of Merritt Island, FL.; one uncle, Ted C. Jarriel Jr. (Loretta) of Dublin; two aunts, Mary Dean Landers of Vidalia, and Laurita Samples of Metter; and one grandson, Nathan Bennette Andrews of Chattanooga, TN.

Graveside Funeral Services for Mrs. Angela Everest Redding will be held Friday, September 20, 2019 at 10:00AM at Ohoopee Cemetery with Dr. Stanley Roberts and Ted C. Jarriel officiating. Interment will follow. The family will receive friends for visitation after the service.
