Deloris Baier, 69, died Sunday, Jan. 7, 2006, at Southwest Medical Center.
She was born Jan. 22, 1937, to Ralph E. "Peanut" and Margaret C. Ontjes Rinehart in Kismet.
She married Joe Baier Oct. 24, 1959, in Garden City. He survives.
She graduated from Kismet School in 1955.
She worked as a telephone operator and later drove a school bus for Kismet Schools for 12 years. She also cared for children in her home for many years.
She was a member of the St. Patrick's Catholic Church of Plains.
Other survivors include two sons, Jeff Baier and wife, Kim, Ulysses, and Jay Baier and wife, Brenda, Liberal; two daughters, Joetta Baier, Liberal, and Jennifer Baier, Farmington, N.M.; four grandchildren, Kelsi Sneyd and husband, Kaleb, Molly Baier, Ashton Baier, and Dakin Baier; one brother, Jack Rinehart and wife, Vee, Kismet; and two sisters, Verabell Wallace, Limon, Colo., and Marjorie Elliott, Garden City.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Plains with Father Angel Dye presiding.
Rosary will be at 7 p.m. today at St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Plains.
Burial will be at Kismet Cemetery.
Friends may call 1 to 5 p.m. today at Miller Mortuary and tonight and Wednesday morning at the church.
