Dorothy Lorraine (Rotter) Neville passed away with her family at her side on Monday, August 26, 2019, at Covenant Medical Center – Cooper. Age 90 years. Dorothy was born on March 23, 1929, in Saginaw, Michigan to the late John and Neva (Case) Rotter. She was married to John Raymond Neville, Sr. on September 14, 1947, in Saginaw, Michigan. After 58 years of marriage, John predeceased Dorothy on July 18, 2005. Dorothy was a life-long member of Ames United Methodist Church.
Surviving are her three children, Connie (Benny) Roe, St. Charles, MI; John R. Neville, Jr., Saginaw, MI; Sara Neville, Hemlock, MI.; five grandchildren and their spouses, Lori (Frank) Nauman, Jim (Marianne) Hogue, John H. Neville, Kyle (Christina) Neville, Timothy (Terri) Neville; seven great-grandchildren; her in-laws, Thomas Neville, Bad Axe, Mich.; Caroline Burgess, Nevada; several nieces, nephews, extended family and dear friends. The family would like to thank St. Francis Home for their loving care given to Dorothy.
The Celebration of Dorothy’s Life will take place at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 29, 2019, at the Wakeman Funeral Home, Inc., 1218 N. Michigan Ave., Saginaw, MI. Rev. Dwight Kingsbury will officiate with burial in Roselawn Memorial Gardens. Friends are welcome to visit with the family at the Wakeman Funeral Home on Thursday from 11:00 a.m. until the time of Dorothy’s Celebration.
