Roger E. Dean, 65, went to be with the Lord on July 11th, 2019 at his home in Thornton, Colorado.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, July 27th, 2019, 11:00 am, at Peace Lutheran Church in Arvada, Colorado.

Roger was born on August 16, 1953 to James and Lorna Dean. He graduated from Douglas County High School in 1971. He continued his education at Red Rocks Community College.

Roger is survived by his four children, Shawn Dean, Troy Dean, Tatum Sullivan, and Angela Dean; twelve grandchildren, Alyssa Fordham, Trey Dean, Christopher Dean, Kiersten Manwaring, Julia Dean, Kaia Fowler, Ethan Dean, Evan Dean, Toby Dean, Lucas Phan, Rylynn Sullivan, and Mia Phan; two great-grandchildren, Tristian Fordham and Morgan Fordham; two brothers, Jim Dean, and Doug Dean; two sisters, Shirley Kelso, and DeAnna Malone.

He is preceded in death by both of his parents, James and Lorna Dean.

In his early years, Roger worked for an insurance company, Samsonite, did drywall and construction, and worked with accounting at both Navajo and Digby trucking company, and Freight All Kinds Trucking company.

He loved spending time with his family watching football, specifically the Denver Broncos, or just eating a good meal and enjoying the company of those he loved. He also had a passion for photography and taking pictures. Some of his other hobbies included fishing, cars and car shows, and collecting coins.

Roger was a kind soul with a huge heart. He had struggled with his health for many years; however, he was a devout christian man and is now walking without pain in Heaven. He will be greatly missed by his family, friends, and those that knew him.
