Private family services are pending at Libbey Funeral Home, Grand Rapids, for Virginia S. Thompson, 71, Grand Rapids. Born June 1, 1914 in Missouri, she lived in the area since last spring and moved here from Carpentersville, Ill. to live with her daughter. She was a member of the Loyal Order of the Moose since 1952. She died Thursday, Dec. 26, 1985 at Leisure Hills Nursing Home, Grand Rapids. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ora and a son, Gene. Survivors are two daughters, Virginia Sucher, Grand Rapids and Patricia Rouley, Carpentersville, Ill.; a son, Joseph, Satsuma, Fla.; a brother, Andrew Vandolah, Albia, Iowa; 13 grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
