FAYETTEVILLE, Tenn.-A funeral for George Elbert Moyers, 79, retired painter and paper hanger, was held today at 1 p.m. at Higgins Funeral Home here.
Rev. Leslie Jacobs officiated. Burial was in Rose Hill Cemetery.
Mr. Moyers died yesterday at his home on the Old Providence Road after a short illness.
He was a native of Lincoln County.
His wife, the former Ada Stubblefield, died in 1956.
Surviving are two daughters, Miss Hugh Lena Moyers, Melbourne, Australia, and Mrs. L. C. Arledge, Lincoln County; and one sister, Mrs. Sue Miller, Mobile.
