Visitation will be Sunday, September 15 from 5-7 p.m. at the funeral home. Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Monday, September 16 in the chapel of Walker Funeral Service. Burial will be in Hillside Cemetery in Purcell at 2:00 p.m. The casket will be open until service time, and not be opened afterward. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the church or organization of your choice.
Catherine was born November 13, 1925 to Wesley Nathaniel & Ellen (Clutz) Mitchell.
She was active in the Pottawatomie County Election Board, the YMCA 3000+ Mile Club, and MOST Ladies of St. Paul’s United Methodist Church. Her family was the highlight of her life and she enjoyed cooking and making holidays, birthdays and other special occasions spectacular. She loved working in the yard, and visiting shut-ins from her church.
She is survived by her husband, Jimmie

Grandchildren: Jeff Foster and wife Erin, John Brownell and wife Heather, and Katie Beth Keck and husband Jason
