Dennie R. Baker, age 61 of Hamilton, passed away at his residence on Tuesday, September 10, 2019. Dennie was born in Cincinnati, Ohio on April 27, 1958 to William Glen Baker and Marietta (Denny) Baker. On September 18, 1981 in Fairfield, he married Cheryl Van Wormer. He enjoyed playing baseball and had an interest in classic cars. Dennie will be remembered for his wonderful sense of humor and his kind heart. He was very family oriented and loved his family and beautiful grandchildren.
Dennie is survived by his loving wife, Cheryl Baker; his children, David James Baker and Katherine Marietta (Nik) Kaczka; three grandchildren, Izabel, Ryker, and Remington; his siblings, Glenda (Dick) Dewald and Gary (Celia) Baker; in laws, Pam Baker, Erika Baker, and Leland "Toot" Ball; and many other loving family and friends. Dennie was preceded in death by his parents, William Glen and Marietta Baker; and his siblings, William "Butch" Baker, Jim Baker, and Roxietta Ball.
Funeral service will be held at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Ave, Hamilton, Ohio, on Monday, September 16, 2019 at 11:30 AM with Rev. Tim White officiating. Burial will follow at Butler County Memorial Park. Visitation will be held on Sunday, September 15, 2019 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home.
