Graveside services for A. Dewey Dinger, 741 of 6221 Northview, who died of natural causes at his home Monday, will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday at Cloverdale by Bishop William Hulet, Boise 21 ST Ward, Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, under direction of Relyea Mortuary.
He was born Aug. 15, 1898, at Mt. Lion, Ill. He married Ada C. Crumb on Sept. 25, 1920, at Arapaho, Okla. He and his wife came to Boise 48 Years ago, and he was employed by the city at Morris Hill Cemetery. He later worked at Wake Island, Mountain Home Air Force Base, and Swan Island shipyards in Portland. He returned to Boise and was employed by McCaslin Lumber Co. until his retirement in 1961.
Survivors are: His wife, Mabel, Boise; two sons, Donald Dinger, Ox Bow, Ore., and Bernard Dinger, Boise; four daughters, Mrs. Mary (Ray) Robinson, Mrs. Bernice (Zane) Simpson, and Mrs. Wanda (Dick) Wilke, all of Boise, and Mrs. Dorothy (Don) West, Long Beach, Calif.; two brothers, Joe, Custer City, Okla., and Ben Dinger, Vale; a sister, Mrs. Zelma Moore, Custer City, Okla.; 27 grandchildren, and 10 great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Lee Garlock, David Garlock, Calvin Garlock, Don Garlock, Gary Simpson, and Richard Wilke.
