Lillian M. Newton, 89, of Moline, died Sunday, June 30, 2002, in her home.
Private family visitation and services will be held at Trimble Funeral Home, Moline. Burial is in Greenview Memorial Gardens, East Moline. Memorials may be made to Quad City Botanical Center, Rock Island, or the Quad City Animal Welfare Center, Milan.
The former Lillian Margaret Krueger was born March 6, 1913, in Sikeston, Mo., the daughter of Charles and Beulah Butler Krueger. She married Bernard Newton Dec. 21, 1962, in Galesburg. He died Dec. 5, 1974.
She was employed by Supreme Cleaners, Moline, for 20 years, retiring in 1992.
Lillian is survived by three grandchildren, Kathy Carlson, Arizona, and John EauClaire, Jr. and Kevin EauClaire, both of Illinois; two great-grandchildren; a son-in-law, Jack EauClaire, Illinois; and a special friend and caregiver, Becky Johnson, Moline. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Marjorie EauClaire; a sister, Esther Walker; and a brother, Charles Krueger.
