John Allen LeMaster Sr., 78, Shively, died at his home.
He was a native of Hardinsburg, a retured stock checker for Ford Motor Company where he worked 30 years, an Army veteran of World War II and a member of Chapel Hill United Church of Christ.
Survivors: a son, John A LeMaster, Jr; a sister, Doris Hood of Mesa, WA., a friend, Billie Sheffield, who cared for him, four grandchildren; and five great grandchildren.
Funeral: 11 am Friday, Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Highway.
Burial: Louisville Memorial Gardens West.
Visitation: after 2 pm Thursday.
