Michael “Snowball” Carlan, 55, of Hayesville, NC, passed away Sunday, December 25, 2016 at John F. Keever Solace Center in Asheville, NC.
Mr. Carlan was born April 6, 1961, in Gastonia, NC, the son of the late Guy Burns Carlan and Donna Mae Davenport Carlan. He lived his entire life in the local area.
In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his brothers, Robert Carlan, Leon Hogsed, and Kenneth Maney.
Survivors include his daughter, Krystel Carlan and fiancé Chris Cleveland-Downing of Murphy, NC; brothers, Harold Martinez and wife Mary Ann of Anderson, SC, Bobby Joe Maney of Hayesville, NC, and Donald Hogsed and wife Joanie of Young Harris, GA; several nieces, nephews, and friends.
The family will hold a memorial service on Sunday, January 22, 2017 at Mr. Carlan’s residence.
