THE PARIS NEWS Wed., May 20, 1992, p.2A: '... 91, Rt. 4, Paris, died Wed., May 20, at McCuistion Regional Medical Center. Services at 2 p.m. Fri., May 22, at the Glory Baptist Church with Rev. Bill Dickey. Bright-Holland Funeral Home has charge. Born in Glory, a son of W.H. & Viola Stone McFadden, he married Eldora Hudspeth Aug. 26, 1927, in the Broadway community. He was a member of the Glory Baptist Church & had worked for Piggly Wiggly & for Rogers-Wade. Surviving are his wife; a daughter, Madge Middleton of Dallas; a brother, Elmer McFadden of Paris; 5 grandchildren & 10 great grandchildren. Second marriage on August 26, 1927 in Delta County to Eldora 'Dode' Hudspeth who was born Nov. 2, 1910 in Maxey community. Child of Walter & Eldora was Madgeline 'Madge' McFadden who was born Oct. 29, 1932 in Glory, who married W.F. Middleton (who is buried near the McFaddens in Antioch Cemetery. Father of Walter Leonard McFadden was William Henry McFadden who was born Oct. 22, 1866 in Columbia, Maury County, TN., and died Nov. 22, 1959 in Glory and buried in Antioch Cemetery. The mother of Walter Leonard McFadden was his father's third wife whom he married Dec. 29, 1898. She was Viola Virginia Stone, born Aug. 16, 1881 in Independence County, Arkansas and died July 31, 1963 in Paris and buried in Antioch Cemetery.
