She was the daughter of Arthur Bachman and Myrtis Cave Cromer.
She was employed by the York school district as a registered nurse.
She was a member of York ARP Church and the York County Artist League.
Mrs. Cromer was a teacher at Yorkville Artist Society and a member of the University of South Board of Women Visitors.
She was preceded by husband, John M. Pratt Sr.
