Dinko John Ceko, 53 of Laurelton, NY passed away at 11:40 P.M. on Wednesday, September 4, 2019 at the Long Island Jewish Hospital in Valley Stream, NY.
Graveside funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Tuesday, September 10, 2019 in the Humboldt Cemetery. Father Angel Sierra will officiate. The Edwards Funeral Home is assisting with arrangements.
Dinko was born on August 20, 1966 in Croatia. He was a son of Dinko and Luzarka (Dusevic) Ceko. He married Regina Edwards on September 22.
Survivors include his wife Regina; two sons, Anthony Ceko and Steven Ceko both of Astoria, NY; one step-son Ryan Zazaretti of Laurelton, NY; twin sister, Anna Maria (Ceko) Kyriazis of Astoria, NY and two brothers, Marino Ceko of Astoria, NY and Louie Ceko of Naples, FL.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Dinko worked as a drywall finisher for several years. He really enjoyed his work and the people he worked with.
He enjoyed spending time at his home in Croatia.
