Herbert L. Morey, 76, 2908 Robinson St., retired mechanic, died Monday at his residence after a long illness.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday in Nelson-Berger Northside Chapel. The Rev. John M. Thomas of St. Joseph Catholic Church will officiate. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4-9 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Mr. Morey was born April 25, 1911, in Luton, Iowa, and attended school in the Luton area until moving to Sioux City. He married Dorothy Feauto in 1980 in Elk Point, S.D. He was a self employed mechanic.
Mr. Morey was a Methodist.
Survivors include his wife; four sons, Herbert L., Jr., Gerald, Glen, and Dale, all of Sioux City; a sister, Agnes Loftus of Sioux City, and 12 grandchildren.
