DECATUR - Evelyn L. Allison, 80, of Decatur, IL, died Saturday, June 30, 2007, at Decatur Memorial Hospital, Decatur, IL.

Funeral services will be 11:00 A.M., Thursday, July 5, 2007, at Brintlinger & Earl Funeral Home, Decatur, IL, with visitation one hour prior to service time at the funeral home.

Burial will be in Point Pleasant Cemetery, Long Creek, IL.

Evelyn was born September 23, 1926, in Decatur, IL, the daughter of Homer Randolph and Nita Marie (Grubbs) Camp. She married Eldon Eugene Allison on January 25, 1948, in Decatur, IL.

Evelyn was a member of TrueBlood United Methodist Church 3rd E.U.B., member of the Decatur Greater Chorale and PTA Mother Singers. She was a wonderful pianist and loved music.

She is survived by her husband of 59 years, Eldon of Decatur, IL; children June Allison and husband Chelso Frescura of Decatur, IL, Nancy Bryson and husband Tom of Oakley, IL; grandchildren Joshua Gordan and Kachina Campbell and husband Mark; great grandchildren Allyssa Gordan, Drew Ward, Quentin Fishel.

She was preceded in death by her parents, sisters Gloria Blessman and Virginia Johnson.
