Roy L. Frost, Jr. (Larry), passed away March 9, 2014, at Circle of Life Hospice in Rogers, Arkansas. He was born in Hutchinson, Ks, January 6, 1946. His parents were Roy L. Frost, Sr. and Betty Scholes Frost.
He was preceded in death by his parents and sisters, Jeanne Frost and Joanne Frost.
Larry graduated from Hutchinson High School in 1964. He attended the University of Kansas where he was a member of Phi Kappa Psi. He left school to enlist in the United States Air Force.
He served in Samsun, Turkey, as an Intelligence Analyst. He returned to school and graduated from Wichita State University. Larry was an instructor in Criminal Justice course work at graduate and undergraduate levels for Wichita State. He later served as Management Analyst for POA at Bella Vista Village.
Throughout his life he pursued a love of music as a guitarist and song writer. He was a faithful follower of KU and WSU basketball.Larry was married to Jane Boucher Frost. His step-daughter, Julie Dean, was supportive during difficult times.
He is survived by: his sons, Kevin Frost, and Ryan Frost; his sister, Janey Frost Horn; and three grandsons.
