Larry passed away on January 15, 2015 at 2:30 am with his family at his side. He was born near Linwood, Ontario on March 9, 1924. Larry served in the infantry in the Second World War, and then moved to the Vancouver area in 1946. He moved to the Edmonton area in 1954 where he worked in the auto and machinery industries until he became an Auctioneer. He and his family moved back to Abbotsford, B.C. in 1970 where he continued in auto, general merchandise and antique auction sales until his retirement. Larry was predeceased by his parents, Edwin and Alberta (Haid) Brenner, his brothers Roy, Jerome, Edwin, Marcel, Raymond, Leonard (Pat), Frederick, Earl; sisters Mary and Yvonne and grandson Paul Brenner. He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Bonnie; seven sons - James (Pamela), Edward (Lorri), Jerome, Stephen (Marie), Justin, Daniel (Suri) and Jonathan (Sonja) and one daughter - Mary Anne. Larry is also survived by 20 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. Prayers and Mass of Christian Burial for Larry Brenner were held at St. Ann's Roman Catholic Church, Abbotsford and Interment at St. Mary's Roman Catholic Cemetery, Chilliwack. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Kidney Foundation of Canada.
