Charley Washington Grant
BROADUS-- Charley Washington Grant had worked as a farmer, coal miner and logger in the Broadus area. He died at age 76, Wednesday evening in his home.
Born in Wagoner, OK., a son of James and Margaret Grant, he was 8 when his family home steadied at Rock Point, WY.,
On 02/21/1934, he married Nellie Mae Taylor in Broadus.
Survivors include his wife; five sons, James Willard, Clifford and Bill, all of Broadus, and Gene of Hazel Green, Alabama; four daughters. Esther Sandine of Black Hawk, S.D., Marie Farrar, Nellie Tabolt and Kay Grant, all of Broadus; a sister Ethel Reeves of Molalla, OR., a brother, Jess of Dayton, WY., 23 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Services will be 2 p.m. Saturday in Powder River Congregational Church with burial in Valley View Cemetery.
