Mr. Norman Luke "Bud" Bartlett, 86 of Cookeville, Tennessee passed from this life on Sunday, September 1, 2019, at his home.

Bud was born Wednesday, May 10, 1933, in Buffalo Valley, Tennessee. He was the son of the late Woodrow Wendall and Mary Josephine (Alcorn) Bartlett.

Bud was a loving son, brother, husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. He retired from General Motors after 31 years as a millwright and after retirement, he did lawn mower repair. Bud served as a deacon at the Silver Point Church of Christ and later attended Willow Avenue Church of Christ and was involved with their visitation programs. Bud liked to whittle, was an avid gardener, he loved to work on motors, and he built a '54 dodge coupe into a truck. Bud was loved by all that knew him and he will be greatly missed.

Bud is survived by: Wife: Cheri Lee (Riggenbach) Bartlett; 7 Children: Norman Billy and Becky Bartlett, Becca and Charlie Rhine, Ward and Lisa Bartlett, Betsy Jo and Jim Sornig, Rachael and Billy Craig, Lanny Bartlett, and Michael and Suzanne Bartlett; 27 Grandchildren; 25 Great-Grandchildren; Sister: Hilda Shelly; Aunt: Libby Wallace.

In addition to his parents, Bud was preceded in death by Sister, Henri Paulsen.

Funeral Service for Norman Luke "Bud" Bartlett will be held Friday, September 6, 2019, from the chapel of the Crest Lawn Funeral Home with Bro. Clarence DeLoach officiating. Interment will follow in the Crest Lawn Memorial Cemetery.
