GRAND ISLAND, Neb. - The funeral for William "Bill" D. Dalrymple, 67, Grand Island, was Monday at the Livingston-Sondermann Funeral Home, 505 W. Koenig, Grand Island, 68801, the Rev. Dale Howard officiating. Burial was in Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery, Grand Island.
Mr. Dalrymple died Saturday, June 13, 1992, at the Mary Lanning Hospital, Hastings.
He was born Aug. 20, 1924, at Beloit, Kan., and had been a Grand Island resident since 1987, moving from Lake George, Colo. He also had lived in Salina, Kan., Prescott, Ariz., and Denver. He was a Navy veteran of World War II. He was an engineer for the Veterans Administration Hospitals, retiring in 1978. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church, the Veterans of Foreign Wars, the Disabled American Veterans and the Fraternal Order of Elks.
Survivors include his wife, E. Eliene of Grand Island; a son, William "Ernie" E. of Grand Island; a daughter, E. Darlyn "Dolly" Fiedler of Grand Island; a brother, Eugene of Topeka, Kan.; a sister, Carol King of Grand Island; and six grandsons.
