Services for Mrs. Jessie Irving Coon, 80, 935 S. 20th St., who died Wednesday morning in Meadows Manor North, will be held at 1 p.m. Friday at the Callahan Funeral Home with the Rev. Kenneth Hayden officiating. Burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Park. Friends may call at the funeral home where OES Chapter 43 will conduct memorial services at 7:30 p.m. Thursday. Her memberships include St. Mark United Church, Republican Club, White Shrine, Alma Rebeccah Lodge, Daughters of the Nile and OES Chapter 43. She was a retired employe of the former Oakley Stores and of the Kroger Company.
Surviving are two sisters-in-law, Mrs. Alex Irving of Terre Haute and Mrs. Gordon Irving of Seelyville; a daughter-in-law, Mrs. Ralph Coon of St. Paul, Minn.; three grandchildren; a nephew, Ronald Irving of Terre Haute and several other nieces and nephews; two cousins, Miss Mary Short of Terre Haute and Mrs. Kate Carpenter of West Terre Haute.
