Vernal--Samuel Joseph Hatch, 80, died Tuesday at 4:15 p.m. in a Vernal hospital of causes incident ot age. Born November 30, 1883, Vernal, to Alva Alexander and Mary Elizabeth Nelson Hatch. Married Ivie Sarah Teeples, May 18, 1908, Vernal. Prominent sheepman in Vernal area where he was a life-time resident. Survivors: sons, Boyd I., Albert B. and Samuel Duane, sisters, Mrs. Raymond (Tess) Siddoway, Mrs. Frank (Donna) Merrill, all of Vernal; 24 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren. Funeral Friday 11 a.m., Vernal 5th LDS Ward Chapel. Friends call Vernal Mortuary Thursday 7-9 p.m. Friday prior to services.
