Louise was born to Anderson Short McIntosh and Martha Jane Johnson McIntosh on Valentine's Day 1916. She was the fifth of ten children, nine of whom lived into adulthood. She served during WWII as an Army driver where she met her first husband, Francis Smith. Several years after Francis's death, she married Asa Alexander Hinson, Jr. Louise passed away just one month after her second husband. She never had children of her own, but was survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
