June 26, 1943 - March 17, 2019

Alfred Worley, 75, passed away at his home on Sunday, March 17, 2019 surrounded by his loving family.

Alfred was born in Caswell County, NC to the late Joseph Willis Worley and Rosa Virginia Purnell Worley.

An expert carpenter, he was known as “Mr. Fix it”. He loved to tend his garden, fishing, NASCAR and his fried chicken was second to none. Most of all he loved his wife and family. Heaven gained a hardworking, fun loving soul.

Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by daughters, Jene’e Jones and Heather Worley; sisters, Lelia Barker and Glenda Adams; brothers, Roderick, Julius and Nathan Worley.

He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Ohma Faye Puckett Worley; Children, Cindy Martin (Greg), Tammy Neville (Donnie), Theresa Thompson (Lanny), Tonya Hodgin (Jeff); son-in-law, Dennis Jones; Grandchildren, Donnie Slate, Brandi Truitt (Josh), Taylor Thompson, Gracie Hodgin and Addington Hodgin; great grandchildren, Lilly, Corey and Joshua Truitt as well as a large extended family.

The family would like to extend a special thanks to the caregivers with Hospice of Rockingham County.

Graveside services will be held at, 1:00 P.M., Wednesday, March 20, 2019 at Lakeview Memorial Park with Rev. Alan Pruitt officiating. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Rockingham County at PO Box 281, Wentworth NC 27027.
