King Fisher, a native of Fort Griffin and long-time resident of Albany, died at his home in Abilene. he had been ill several years.

The funeral was held at Oak Street Baptist Church in Abilene. Burial was in the Albany Cemetery.

Mr. Fisher, a painter and sign painter for many years, was born Feb. 12, 1889, at Fort Griffin. He was married to the former Irene Newcomb in Albany in 1913. The couple lived here until moving to Abilene some eight years ago.
