Charles was born on March 8, 1952, in Victoria, Texas, to the late Tommie R. and Nettie Dale (Ausley) Dunnahoe. He graduated from Teague High School Class of 1971. Charles married Marcia Hartless on June 25, 1971, and they shared over 48 years of marriage. He was a workaholic, mainly in the oilfield. Charles also learned the trade of blacksmith. He enjoyed hunting and camping.
He was preceded in death by his brothers: Richard Dunnahoe, James Dunnahoe, and Wayne Dunnahoe; a niece, Jessica Taylor; and nephews, Richard Dunnahoe, Jr., and Shawn Dunnahoe.
Survivors include his wife, Marcia Dunnahoe; sons, Charles Robert Dunnahoe and his wife, Alyssa, and Thomas Jay Dunnahoe and his wife, Angela; grandchildren: Abigail Dunnahoe, Avery Dunnahoe, Alexis Dunnahoe, Thomas Dunnahoe, Joshua Dunnahoe, Zane Wilchar, and Irvin Horn; brother, Leonard Dunnahoe and his wife, Norma; sister, Cathy Ann Taylor; numerous nieces, nephews, and close friends; and his beloved cat, Baby.
