Our beloved father, husband, and grandfather, Guy Remington Bailey, 85, went to be with the Lord on January 1, 2005 after a long illness. He was born on January 23, 1919, in Lawton, Oklahoma. He served his country during World War II in the United States Navy. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Maggie Lee Bailey and his son, Aubrey Bailey.He is survived by his wife, Maria Bailey of Corpus Christi, Texas; two daughters, Pat (Fred) Lytle of Mathis, Texas, and Delia Johnson of Corpus Christi, Texas; one son, Virgil (Mary Lou) Bailey of Robstown, Texas; and daughter-in-law, Gwyn Bailey of Tulsa, Oklahoma; one sister, Molly (Gene) McDowell of Fredrickstown, Missouri; thirteen grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren.Visitation will be held from 11:00 A.M. until 9:00 P.M. Sunday, January 2, 2005, and from 8:30 A.M. until 12:30 P.M. Monday, January 3, 2005, at Cage-Mills Funeral Directors, 490l Everhart Road.Graveside services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Monday, January 3, 2005 at Seaside Memorial Park.He will be missed greatly!!
