Funeral services were held at First Baptist Church in Johnston City Tuesday afternoon for John A. Abbott, 66, former Marion man who died of a heart attack at his home in Johnston City Saturday afternoon, April 13, 1946.
Mr. Abbott is survived by his wife, a daughter, Mrs. Erik Lyerla, two granddaughters, Delores and Loretta Lyerla, Chicago Heights, foster son, Hansel Grisham at home and two brothers, Jasper and George Abbott, Colorado.
