Mr. Bramel was born March 6, 1890 in Mount Auburn, son of William O. and Laura Bramel. Ray married Lelah M. Long in 1918. She survives.
He was a member of Mount Auburn Christian Church and was retired from Hopper Paper Mill, Taylorville, where he had been employed 15 years.
One daughter (Mary Marie Bramel), three brothers (John, Charles, and Claude) and four sisters (Elizabeth, Grace, Margaret, and Mary) preceded him in death.
Funeral services will be in Dawson & Wikoff Funeral Home, Mount Auburn. Burial will be in Mount Auburn Cemetery.
