Tina Pernell, 63, of Palestine , went home to be with the Lord. She was born to Phillip McKay and Wanda Jo Atkins McKay.
Tina was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, family member and friend. She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She loved her dogs and her favorite hobby was crafting. Tina took pleasure in spending her free time creating jewelry, wreaths or painting. She had a room in her home filled with her artwork.
She is preceded in death by her parents; sister, Patricia Alford; brother, Rocky McKay and brother-in-law, Ed Yoder.
Tina is survived by her husband of 38 years, John Pernell; daughter, Robyn Collins; sons, John "J.T." pernell (Nicole), Lance Wayne Pernell (Jodie); sisters, Pam Yoder, Terri Arnold (Allan), Kristi Schales (Bill), Kelly Land (Roy); brother, Scott McKay (Leslie); brother-in-law, Bruce Alford; grandchildren, Isiah Bruey, Elijah Bruey, Judah Pernell, Paris Pernell, Gabriel Pernell and Aine Pernell as well as numerous family members and friends.
Funeral services to celebrate her life will be in the Rhone Funeral Memorial Chapel with Pastor Danny Rodriquez officiating; interment will follow in Roselawn Park.
