Morris Neil Adair, 87, of Forsyth, Georgia and formerly of Elkhart, Texas will have funeral services along with his wife Virginia at Herrington/Land of Memory Funeral Home Chapel; military graveside services will follow at Land of Memory Cemetery.

Morris Adair was born to Wylie C. and Eunice May Nichols Adair. He was a retired Command Sergeant Major with the US Army. Awards and decorations received during his 24 years of service were the Bronze Star Medal (3rd Oak Leaf Cluster amd "V" device for heroism), Purple Heart, Army Commendation Nedal (1st Oak Leaf Cluster), Army Good Conduct Medal (1st-4th Awards), National Defense Service Medal (1st Oak Leaf Cluster), Vietnam Service Medal, Vietnam Campaign Medal with 1960 device, 1 Silver and 1 Bronze Service Star, Combat Infantryman Badge, Parachutist Badge, Pathfinder Badge, Expert Badge (Rifle), Sharpshooter Badge (Pistol-45), and Overseas Bars (4).
He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Mark Adair; granddaughter, Malyssa Faith Adair; grandson, Micxhael Barrentine and his siblings, Jerry, Gayle, Jean and Kelton.
He is survived by brothers, Mike and Dickie Adair.
