MRS. BEULAH BRANNAN DIES IN HERRIN

Mrs. Beulah Brannan, 69, of 45 Orchard Drive, Herrin, was dead on arrival at 2 p.m. Monday at Herrin Hospital. She apparently died from a heart attack authorities said.

She was born Oct. 25, 1901, at Tunnel Hill in Johnson County, the daughter of William and Lydia Choate Hardin. She was married to Walter Brannan in 1930 at St. Louis, Mo. He died Aug. 17, 1960.

She was a member of the First Apostolic Church in Herrin. Her parents, a sister and two brothers preceded her in death.

She is survived by a step-daughter, Mrs. Doris Fonnet of Tonawanda, N. Y.; sisters, Mrs. Mabel Asa and Mrs. Geneva Kinley, both of Herrin and Mrs. Wanda Suzstak and Mrs. Sarah Mass, both of Chicago; and a brother, Clarence Hardin of Chicago.

Funeral services will be at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday at Johnson's Funeral Home, Herrin. The Rev. Robert Miller will officiate. Burial will be in the Herrin City Cemetery. Friends may call until the time of services.
