Cordele--Funeral services for Mary (LAMBERTH) PLESS, 85, of Cordele will be held 4 p.m. today, Oct. 9, 2005, in the chapel of Rainey Funeral Services. Interment will follow at Arabi Cemetery. Mrs. PLESS died in Crisp Regional Nursing & Rehab Friday, Oct.7, 2005. Born Thursday, April 8, 1920 in Crisp County, she was the daughter of the late J.T. LAMBERTH and Dona Lee (JACKSON) LAMBERTH and was the widow of John Larkin PLESS Jr. She was a retired seamstress and a member of Peavy United Methodist Church. She was also a member of the OPEL Club, the 39'ers, the Homemaker's Club and a former member of Tallulah Atkins Chapter OES. She is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, two daughters and their husbands, two grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
