Mrs. Catherine Armour, 85, mother of Mrs. Frank Fries, Carlinville, died early this afternoon in Washington, D.C. She was the mother-in-law of Congressman Frank Fries.
Mrs. Armour's husband died May 30, 1935.
Remains were taken to Carlinville for burial.
Funeral services were at the Heinz funeral home in Carlinville.
Burial was in Mayfield cemetery.
