Karen Joy Becker
Karen Joy Becker was an intelligent, giving person.
Originally from Indiana, she spent most of her life in Arizona. She worked in the court system, but enjoyed travel to places as far as Australia.
Karen even tried her hand at creating stained glass and mosaics. For a time she enjoyed selling on ebay and finding unusual items wherever she went.
Her late husband, Dave Haas, was quite outgoing. Karen was quiet and reflective. Both were generous givers to charities.
Karen cared lovingly for her long-lived cats. She took long walks with a close neighbor, and was learning to play pickle ball.
She was “Neighbor Karen” to another family, sharing holidays and birthdays and general gatherings. She took pride in pitching in to set tables and arrange the food. She also was quick to help clean up after dessert.
Karen will be greatly missed by her friends and neighbors.
