Mrs. Mattie Bennett Ramsey, 92, died September 14, 1977 at St. Elizabeth Hospital. The last of the children of Lloyd and Nancy Jane Bennett, she was the oldest member of the Dry Ridge Baptist Church where she had been a member for 80 years. She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Ruth Landrum of Dry Ridge and Mrs. Edris Hopper of Decatur, Georgia; six grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. Services will be Friday at Eckler Funeral Home, with burial in Hill Crest Cemetery, Dry Ridge, Kentucky.
