Archibald Henry Rogers, was born in Frimley in 1878, the son of Thomas William Rogers and his wife Mary (nee Darnborough). He was their second son and the first to be born at Frimley. His father was a renowned gardener in charge of the parkland and gardens attached to Frimley Park Mansion between 1875 and 1925. Archibald was baptised at Frimley on the 6th of October 1878.

He would have grown up in Frimley Park Lodge and attended Frimley School.

In 1901 Archibald was working as a furniture salesman in Kilburn.

He married a lady from Scotland known as Margaret Addison. Their wedding took place in Kilburn on the 24th of December 1905. They had three children. Ronald born in 1907, Mina in 1909 and Agnes in 1910. In 1911 they were living in Tennyson Road in Kilburn.

Archibald died at Frimley on the 25th of October 1911. He was buried at Frimley on the 31st of October 1911.
