AARON'S OBITUARY

Aaron Daniel Vansickle, age 45, passed away Sunday, August 11, 2019, South of Hurdland, MO. He was born September 30, 1973, in Kirksville, MO, the son of Harold Leon and Lorene Faye Tonkinson Vansickle. He was united in marriage to Sarah Campbell on December 23, 2016 in Edina, MO.

Surviving are his wife Sarah Vansickle of Hurdland, MO, his parents, Harold and Lorene Vansickle of Hurdland, MO, five children, Levi and Logan Vansickle of Purdin, MO, Zachariah and Kaleb Vansickle of Kirksville, MO and Lana Vansickle of Brashear, MO, step children, Cherokee Lopez of Center, MO, Jessica Rudd of Columbia, MO, Justin Rudd of Hurdland, MO and Joseph Rudd of Topeka, KS, two sisters, Lisa (Monte) Fisher of Brashear, MO, and Alice (Greg) Davis of Kirksville, MO, one grandchild Piper Vansickle, one step grandchild Bradey Reardon, and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Aaron was preceded in death by his grandparents, Leonard and Mable Vansickle and Ivan and Catherine Tonkinson.

Aaron grew up with his family on a farm north of Hurdland where he enjoyed milking goats and riding his three wheeler at a young age. He received his education in Hurdland Elementary School and Knox County High School. He owned and operated Vansickle Tree Trimming for twenty three years and also raised cattle and sheep. He enjoyed going to the State Fair, riding his motorcycle and visiting with family and friends. He attended the Hurdland Methodist church growing up and on March 31, 2019 was baptized at the Novelty Christian Church.

Visitation will be held Friday, August 16, 2019, from 1 p.m. till time of services at 3 p.m. in the Hudson-Rimer Funeral Home in Edina, MO. Reverend Paul Milliken and Reverend Graig Connell will officiate the services. Burial will be in the Hurdland I.O.O.F Cemetery. Musical selections will be Amazing Grace, Born Free and Only God Knows Why.

Casket bearers will be Rick Lawson, Adam Heller, Richard Edwards, Kevin Shanley, George Sparks, and Phil Abbacchi. Honorary bearers will be Levi, Logan, Zachariah, Kaleb and Lana Vansickle and Tim Chotrol.

Memorials are suggested to the Hurdland I.O.O.F. Cemetery. Memorials may be left at or mailed to Hudson-Rimer funeral Home, P.O. Box 1, Edina, MO, 63537.
