Mrs. Parks, a registered nurse, died Thursday.
She was born in Indianapolis and graduated from St. Elizabeth School of Nursing in Yakima in 1932.
She married Frank Parks in 1937, and they moved to Elk in the early 1950s.
Mrs. Parks was a registered nurse for several years at the Deer Park Hospital, St. Luke's Memorial Hospital, Sacred Heart Medical Center and Deaconess Medical Center.
She accepted Jesus Christ as her savior as a teenager and was a ready witness of her faith in Him.
Survivors include her husband, at the home; two sons, Wayne Parks of Spokane and Harold Parks of Port Angeles, Washington; a sister, Helen Nelson of Gig Harbor, Washington; and six grandchildren.
