Mary Louise Hill, 89, of Amarillo, died Saturday, Dec. 22, 2001.

Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. today in Llano Cemetery with the Rev. Tom DaMour, pastor of United Church of God, officiating. Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors, 2820 Virginia Circle.

Mrs. Hill was born in Cassville, Mo., and had lived in Amarillo since 1945. She was a member of United Church of God for more than 40 years. She was one of the original 'Harvey Girls' and also worked at Remington Arms Munitions Factory as a 'Rosie the Riveter.'

Everyone who knew her will mis her. She was a caring and giving person, always thinking of others.

Mrs. Hill married Clifford Hill on March 3, 1943, in Clovis, N.M. He died in 1974.

Survivors include a son, Gary Hill of Batavia, Ill.; three daughters, Ronda Crabtree and Dina Hill, both of Amarillo and Celena Hill of Newport Beach, Calif.; five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

The family will be at 4323 S. Polk St. and requests memorials be to the Salvation Army.
